Brian Cassie:

Traveling to Asia for your first time or for the experienced can be stressful. In Shenzhen there is almost no english speaking people, or white people for that matter. Luckily we had our guide Will, without him there would be no trip as he planned everything with no stress on us. From booking hotels, cabs, and ordering all our meals he handled it all. This left us to skate and enjoy ourselves, which you could really feel once we got settled in. Having a good crew is the top priority to having a success full trip. Other than skateboarding each day ti'll we were tired we also hit the famous Queenspa, our second home. This is a massive spa which our friend worked at so we were treated well, I'd recommend if your in Shenzhen to check it out.
This was one of the only trips I've been on where no one wanted to leave. Usually after a few weeks people get home sick or sore from skating but I heard no complaints. Even on the plane ride home everyone was planning next years trip back. I hope these photos and video inspire you to venture out of your comfort zone and explore the beauty of Asia. |
